I do not have certifications or licenses relevant to large home improvement projects or house flipping work. However, I did write the contract to buy my first home without a real estate license or previous experience buying or selling properties. Therefore, I like learning as I go.
What’s the worst DIY challenge you’ve faced?
Undoubtedly, cleaning up human blood stains in my newly purchased home. Like a clueless adventurer, I knew of these stains when I bought the property. Still, I had mistakenly left the tea towels covering them alone during the initial inspection. Realizing the complexity and sensitivity of the task, I consulted a seasoned crime scene cleaner to ensure the proper and safe removal of the biohazardous materials. Little did I know, that was just the beginning—my house, as it turned out, came with an unexpected bonus feature: a haunted ambiance.
